Event Overview

COP17, a significant milestone in the global climate change dialogue, was hosted at the Durban International Convention Centre. The event was marked by crucial negotiations, culminating in the Durban Platform for Enhanced Action, the foundation of the Green Climate Fund, and the extension of the Kyoto Protocol. Providing a conducive environment for these negotiations required meticulous planning and execution, a challenge we were ready to meet.

The Challenge

The logistics and infrastructure management for COP17 involved navigating through the complexities of international protocols, accommodating the needs of diverse stakeholders including high-ranking officials from the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), international delegations, media, and non-governmental organizations. The event's scope necessitated a dedicated team of Senior Project Managers onsite, ensuring seamless integration of services and infrastructure components.
